Students from not only the Kent Career Tech Center, but all 20 Kent County school districts are invited to check out these listings. The jobs on this site are intended to be entry-level positions that allow students the opportunity to showcase their existing skills, develop new skills and gain work experience that leads to further career opportunities.

Will be operating and maintaining a variety of machine tools, including lathes, mills, grinders, and drill presses. Will be setting up and operating machines to produce parts that meet precise specifications.
Will attend Grand Rapids Community College's Machining Lab every Friday to earn a Machine & Tooling Certificate. Class will start June of 2024. However, can start working before school starts.

Health Care Associates - In home caregiving. Health Care Associates is family owned and operated, we have been providing health care to our clients in their homes since 1980. We offer free training and are looking for caregivers including home health aides, CNAs, LPNs & RNs.
As a home health aide you will be helping with such tasks such as bathing, feeding, house keeping and more. You will also assist in maintaining a physical and psychological environment which will be conducive to the best interest and welfare of the client.
No high school diploma required. Capacity for caring. (Some positions have an age requirement of 18+.) Training will be provided.

GENEVA Camp & Retreat Center - Christian Facility located along the Michigan lakeshore at 3995 N Lakeshore Dr, Holland, MI 49424
The maintenance staff is responsible for maintaining the GENEVA facilities in good condition so that the program can function as well as possible without distraction. This may include: cleaning, sweeping, lawn-care, vehicle maintenance, and more.
This position is an on-site, seasonal role (May 30 - August 17). You will be paid a weekly salary of $350/week. Housing and meals are included. Most weekends are free to you, we will communicate when they are not.
